About Trae Painter Booth
I am a licensed esthetician and massage therapist, living and working in the beautiful Texas hill country. I have been practicing for over 17 years and have worked with every skin type. It has become my mission and goal to reach out to others and share my knowledge. My greatest rewards come from helping people look and feel their best. My young clients who are at that awkward age of hormonal changes are so vulnerable and sensitive with their looks and emotions. It is so healing for me to see their skin and self-esteem improve. There are wonderful treatments and products to heal and soothe acne. No one should suffer and be embarrassed by acne with today's modern technology and yesterday's ancient wisdom of natural herbs and plants.
Women who are adjusting to the first signs of aging see dramatic results with the use of glycolic and power repair lines. If you are going through pre or post-op laser surgery the healing time is unparalleled by the gentle use of Babor's healing creams. Whatever your skin type or special needs are I can help you with advice and skincare prescriptions. But that is only a part of it, the rest is up to you. Taking good care of ourselves plays a huge role in how our skin looks and feels. I can sell you excellent products but if you're not eating right, exercising, vitamins and not getting enough sleep, then you're not going to get great results. There are not enough words to be said about how good exercise is for you. Go outside and walk or run and breathe the fresh air and sun (don't forget the sunblock). Yoga is great for reducing stress and tension. When you exercise it produces pleasure endorphins in the brain and give you a great sense of well being and others see it too - blood is circulated and toxins are released.
That brings me to H2O or water. 6-8 glasses per day keeps everything moving in your body and toxic waste eliminated, skin is therefore hydrated from the inside out. Eating the right foods and cutting out starches and sugars. Listen to your body when you're eating, it will let you know if you are eating something that's not especially good for you. A good multi-vitamin will ensure you're getting all the nutrients and minerals your body needs. Write me and I can tell you more on vitamins. And last but not least a good nights sleep accounts for a lot when it comes to healthy looking skin. As we all know, a late or sleepless night puts dark circles under our eyes and a general tired look on our faces. Try to get enough rest and again listen to your body it will tell you what it needs.
